Ørsted’s Blackwater Solar Center will help meet the energy needs of New Mexico by providing clean and reliable solar-powered electricity.
This 200 MW project will power around 56,600 homes every year, while creating new opportunities and economic benefits for Roosevelt County. The center is expected to operate for 30 years, delivering long-term value to the community. With approximately 200 full-time temporary construction jobs and several permanent full-time roles for ongoing operations.
